of Flockmama... Well Hello Everyone,
We have had a very busy month of January. We opened our
Little Wing Creations Webstore, revamped our Little Wing Aviary
Website and launched new products. I will be happy when everything is
running smoothly again and I can concentrate on designing toys for our
feathered friends.
I would like to take this opportunity to Thank you for your business
as it is greatly appreciated. If you have any comments or suggestions
please feel free to email them to me. I would love to see some
pictures of your bird(s) and would love to post them on the site if you
would allow it.

The Jumblerang
 This is a great toy for the chewer. Packed with a jumble of wooden
pieces in many shapes and topped off with two plastic boomerangs. It is a
bright heavy toy jam packed with vibrantly dyed wooden pieces.
Measuring approximately 18 inches high (not including the hanger) and 11
inches wide in places, it is not a little toy. The wood pieces have been
knotted and strung with a double strand of dyed jute for durability. This
toy will make someone a very happy bird! |
How it all started.....
Little Wing Creations
was created for my son who sustained a traumatic brain injury when he was
nineteen, through no fault of his own. I was not sure that he would be able
to maintain any form of employment so it seemed like the thing to do!
I do not tell
you this for pity or to tug on your heart strings, as he is doing
well although he does have issues still. If you could remember Kevin
in your prayers I would appreciate it!.

The Jumblerang Junior
This is a smaller version of our Jumblerang made especially for the
smaller birds. A great toy for the chewer. Packed with a jumble of wooden

Medium Beaded Wooden Tree Swing
Nothing quite says fun like a new swing and this one has been designed
especially for the smaller birds. Appropriate for Cockatiels, Parrotlets,
Finches, Budgies, Canaries,
 Keets and birds of this size.
Made with some tasty wooden trees for nibbling and some plastic beads, this
swing is sure to be a hit with your bird. All strung on bird safe heavy
weight wire and hung from a small snap closure.

it......
When I want to give my birds a
special treat I reach for popcorn. Yup popcorn! I get the old
fashion popcorn in the plastic bags as it does not have the added sodium and
fat that the microwaveable bags seem to have.
I simply
place it in a microwaveable dish with a little oil and pop it up. When
it is done I dump it into a paper bag and sprinkle some powdered cheese
and/or spices (oregano seems to be a favorite) into the bag and give it a
good shake. Sometimes I sprinkle vitamins in the bag as well. I
let it cool and then serve it up.

wild......it is amazing what your birds like if you only offer it to them!
